Bartender
The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple seeks Bartenders to perform all aspects of planning, setup, sales of and mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, concessions, tear-down, reporting, and cleanup of sales and consumption bars for events, shows and weddings. This position will report to the bar/concessions manager and should be RAMP certified and have professional bartending experience.

Volunteers/Ushers
Volunteering at the Scranton Cultural Center is easy.
It’s a great way to get out and help keep this historic landmark in full operation while having a good time in the process. Our volunteers serve in a wide variety of capacities – from ushers and ticket takers at one of our many SCC, Broadway or Philharmonic performances, to assistance with our Children’s Series workshop programs and to help in our administrative offices.
Volunteering takes many forms at the Center, and there’s probably one that’s just right for you.
And to those of you who are already members of our volunteer family, a great big Thank You for all you do to keep this building alive and vibrant!

Internships
The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple is in search of highly motivated, organized and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in working on various educational outreach, programming outreach, and theatrical projects. As an intern, you would be involved in various aspects of educational events/programming events at the Scranton Cultural Center, in Scranton, PA.
Educational Intern Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a Scranton Cultural Center representative for outreach events
- Design promotional materials
- Research/prep arts and craft activities for the upcoming / ongoing Season
- Update existing spreadsheets and create documents to manage large amount of data
- Assist the Educational Outreach Manager in supporting Community outreach projects such as community , focus groups, surveys and any project designed to elicit feedback from schools/groups regarding our programming, education and outreach services
- Provide information to various organizations about SCC programming (calling, faxing, email, ect.)
- Aid in scheduling artists for programming
- Provide building tours to the general public
Job Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, social and organization skills
- Must have a valid Pennsylvania Drivers License
- Laptop computer required
- Must be able to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Flexible hours that may include weekends
- Students pursuing a degree in the areas of communication, marketing & promotion, education or theatre
- Graphic design experience a plus

We are currently searching for qualified individuals to fill these internship positions for the current Semester. This internship is for college credit. It is a non-paid position with flexible hours (15- 20 hours per week) to reflect the need of your college credit requirements. Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
